RyToast, Wheat Toast, Pumpernickel Bread ...
- My coffee intake could kill small animals
- I hate the crunchy noise when squishing bugs
- I chose to be bald. Of course, it was inevitable.
- There's ALWAYS a bottle of wine open in my house
I started my career in the dotcom boom and have been working as a designer since leaving high school. After years of working in the corporate world, I've given up the cubicle for the comfort of my home office. I started Aimed Arrow, LLC and enjoy designing for clients across the country. I doubt I'll go back in the corporate world again... Starting and operating my own design firm has always been my dream. And now I'm living it.
I love wine. If I didn't design, I'd be making my own wine in Sonoma Valley. To calm the urge of packing up and moving to the French countryside and making wine for the rest of life, I created VineSugar which so far has become quite a hit amongst wine lovers. I'm always at wine events, wineries tasting new vintages and writing reviews. Surprisingly, it's become quite the place to be read. If only it paid the bills...
I live the San Francisco Bay Area with my incredibly supportive wife, Jennifer. We had a fairy tale wedding in Maui with our friends and family on April 7th of 2006. Jen is truly my better half. She is much smarter than I am and knows it. She swishes everything she drinks before she swallows and take a bath every night.
We recently celebrated the birth of our daughter, Olivia Grace, who is sheer perfection. Jen labored for 5 hours and pushed for 15 minutes. Her birth happened so fast it was tough to keep up. She doesn't do much but I could still hold and watch her all day... as do our dogs.
We have a welsh corgi named Fabrizio (Fritz) and an english bulldog named Madeline (Maddy). Fritz enjoys laying in the sun, Maddy prefers the couch and a bone to chew. They both still aren't sure what to do about the baby.
Things you probably didn't know about me...
1. I have an OCD where I twist straw wrappers into little balls and roll them around my finger tips.
2. In high school, I used to run long distance track and cross country. I could run the mile in 5 minutes flat. I would run an average of 15 miles a day.
3. I'm a college drop out.
4. I dream about my work and often solve complex issues in my dreams. When I wake up, I can immediately start working again like I didn't miss a beat.
5. I hate goat cheese. It makes me gag.
